Surge Protection
A power surge or spike can cause costly or irreparable damage to your electrical equipment. The CABAC surge protected power board has built in devices (across neutral + active) which will absorb these spikes making it suitable for protecting your valuable computer hardware, electrical equipment and domestic appliances in the home and office.
Safety Overload Protection
This CABAC surge protected power board is equipped with a circuit breaker, which will safely shut off all power in the event of overloading. After eliminating the overload it can be reset by pressing the circuit breaker reset button.
Operating Instructions
1. Use only with a correctly wired regular household power point (240 volt maximum load 10amps) ensure you have a good earth connection.
2. If during use, the indicator lamp goes out, the protection circuit has probably absorbed a large power surge and its surge absorbing ability is spent. This means the unit is no longer protecting your equipment and must be replaced, however it can still be used as a regular power board.

This unit is not a lighting arrester and may not protect your equipment if lighting directly strikes the house, electrical services or antenna. This power surge protector will not offer protection if there is a sustained over-voltage caused by a fault in the mains power distribution system.
Do not use outdoors or ion wet locations and use only with a correctly wired power point. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
